Business Awards Night Moves Online
We’re cancelling our in-person Awards night due to alert level restrictions and are instead taking it online!
It’s with huge disappointment but out of utmost respect for the current challenges New Zealand faces as a nation with the COVID-19 and Delta restrictions that the Electra Business & Innovation Awards Board have decided to cancel the Awards Night that was planned for the 5th of November.
In its place, thanks to our AV partners - Vidcom, the 2021 Electra Business & Innovation Awards will be held via an online event to ensure that all finalists and winners receive the proper recognition for their achievements this year.
The online event will now be held on the 19th of November, it is free to attend and open to all.
Programme Manager, Charlotte Tollervey is encouraging all viewers to make a night of it, commenting, “We want the event to be as engaging and interactive as possible, so we are encouraging local businesses to put their glad rags on and host a viewing party for their work bubble so that they can join together as a team and enjoy the night.”
Te Radar will MC remotely and all winners will be announced live on the night, so it’s a great opportunity to tune in and see the 2021 results!
Brendan Duffy, Chair of the Electra Business & Innovation Awards Board commented, “As a Board, we have agonised over this decision, we now need certainty, it's a challenging time for any business right now and the less disruption the better. I could offer a dozen excuses and comments, but I know you will understand. The task now is to get on and get the planning underway, please follow our channels for further information.”
