Awards Night Postponed
The Electra Business & Innovation Awards has postponed their Awards night until 5th November 2021.
After careful consideration and close monitoring of the current alert levels, the Electra Business & Innovation Awards Board have decided to postpone the Awards Night until later this year.
This is to ensure that the event can run safely and in all its splendour!
We acknowledge that this has been a challenging time for the business communities and feel that a postponement will allow businesses the time they need to regroup, as well as ensuring that the event can go ahead in a safe manner.
Chair Brendan Duffy commented, “We want to thank all Kāpiti & Horowhenua businesses for their understanding during this challenging time, as we work to ensure that this event goes ahead in the best way possible. We didn’t come to this decision lightly, but the safety of guests, staff and the community is of paramount importance to us. The event will be made even more special when we can eventually get together later this year and we look forward to celebrating in style.”
Programme Manager, Charlotte Tollervey (PomPom Events & Marketing), commented, “The Awards Night is a highlight in the local business calendar and an event that is about relationships, connecting and networking, so whilst we have explored all options for the event, we believe that a live event is best suited and therefore postponement was the way forward. We are excited to bring the business communities together later this year and we are sure that current circumstances will mean the event feels even more special.”
The event is set to be hosted by an incredible MC, have a scrumptious 3-course dinner by Blue Carrot Catering and late-night entertainment with the dance floor finale by The Winsome Lost.
